What type of diet do they put a person on when they need to lose weight to inlist in the army?
I know to be in the army, navy, etc.. You have to meet a certain weight requirement.. And i notice the ppl that are over weight, they put them on special diet lose weight quickly.. Does anyone know what they do?
I don’t think the armed forces has a special diet per se. My husband currently serves and struggles with his weight. Most of the time he makes his weight, but when he doesn’t he passes his tape. Therefore, if you do not meet the weight requirement, you may make the tape. To lose weight, they DO put them on remedial P. T. where they exercise three to four times a day. When my husband is preparing for a P.T. test, he cuts out all RED meat, eats a lot of fruits and vegetables. He also does not eat after 7:00 p.m. and runs anywhere from two to five miles a day and lifts weights. Try talking to a recruiter. They will tell you if you would make the weight and/or tape and give you guidelines to get started. Good luck to you.
